Love Acts got a “CRAZY” idea

Hand out 700 Christmas and New Years Eve gifts to the children in the slums, and the women and children in the red-light district.

We put the word out, by faith, and decided to start our first annual holiday projects.

Project: Christmas Warmth

In Thailand, the winters get very cold during the night, and the housing is not conducive to heat, especially of those who live in the slums.

We decided to put the word out in faith to buy warmth packages for 100 children in the slums and red-light district.

It cost $10 to create a warmth package of a blanket, hoodie, pants, and a toy for the slum children, and all the above including closed toe shoes, and gloves for the children who work in the red-light district.

Thank you to all who were a part of a child’s warmth this Christmas.

For Project: [Mai] Beauty ([new] beauty), we handed out 600 mirrors to every lady and ladyboy working in the red-light district.

Each mirror had this truth from the Bible handwritten on it “Oh, how beautiful you are!” Song of Songs 4:1. Each time we handed the ladies a mirror, their faces lit up, and they were so appreciative of the small gift.

We asked God to give us enough mirrors for all of them, and He answered by giving us that plus more! We actually have about 30 left over!

The ladies were able to start off the new year with that truth being reflected upon them.

We’re looking forward to all the AMAZING things God is going to in the red-light this new year.
