She’s beautiful. She’s valued. She’s a daughter of God. Tonight she will be purchased for sex. She’s worth more.
Mission of She’s Worth More:
To eradicate the commercial sex industry in Chiang Mai by giving a voice to the women, men and ladyboys trapped in prostitution and educating people about their worth and value that is found in Christ.
She’s Worth More Started…
with a group of passionate women and a simple drawing in a journal. A group of World Racers spent the month of April, 2014 working at Lighthouse in Action. While interceding for their teammates out doing bar ministry one night, God gave a picture to Racer Kristin Lupton. The picture started a fire in the womens’ hearts, and they ran with it, doing what they felt God was leading them to do. Quickly, that vision turned into a logo and that logo turned into an entire movement to raise awareness to stop prostitution and sex trafficking here in Chiang Mai.
Our Dream for She’s Worth More
The She’s Worth More campaign is brand new, but was birthed in a poster child city of prostitution that is crying for justice. Our first aim is to see She’s Worth More flourish and help bring prostitution to an end right here in Chiang Mai, where it began.
Our ultimate hope is that this movement can and will expand to serve as a awareness movement to shed light on other anti-trafficking/anti-prostitution organizations across the globe. Prostitution is a global problem; She’s Worth More desires to be a global vehicle to end it.
Get Involved With She’s Worth More
- Pray. The first and best way to join She’s Worth More is by praying. She’s Worth More came about through intercession. No prayer is too big or too small. Pray for the city of Chiang Mai, for the bar owners, pimps, prostitutes, the johns who buy them, even the passersby on the street who have no intention of buying a girl. Pray that more people will rise up and join the fight to end prostitution.
- #shesworthmore Share stories and pictures of your encounters with prostitution and how you are helping to end it on Instagram and Facebook with #shesworthmore.
- Share Your Story. If you have served at Lighthouse in Action and have a story you want to share with the world about your time here, email us and share it. If you have blog posts, be sure to link Lighthouse in Action!

You can be a building block for Lighthouse by committing to follow blogs on the site, covering them in prayer, and sharing about what Lighthouse does with your community of friends and family.
